Ode To The Full Moon
Rising with the sun's depart A silver orb doth make its start And trees lift spiney arms to pray As she passes on her way Wolves enchanted by her sight Offer their song into the night And babes in bed but not asleep Begin the dreams that they will keep Lovers walking arm in arm Begin their life with her charm And an old man with greying hair Remembers when he stood there A silver lustre does she spread Upon the ground that I must tread And ere I feel there's much amis She leaves me with a silver kiss |
